Jessica Marie Jensen earned her wings

Jessica Marie Jensen passed away at 3:30 am on Oct 4th with her loving parents at her side. She lived a life full of medical procedures, heart surgeries, strokes, and pain... but she gave love, peace, hope, encouragement and faith. We invite you to celebrate her remarkable life with us.

The viewing and funeral services will be held at the LDS East Stake Center: 6901 E Kenyon, Tucson AZ 85710 on Saturday October 9th

The viewing will be from 8:00am to 9:45am in the Relief Society Room. The funeral will start at 10:00am.

Following the services those who would like to, are welcome to go to East Lawn Palms Mortuary - 5801 E Grand Rd, 85712 We will have a balloon release there as well as a few words and prayer.

If possible, please do not wear black. Jessica has always been so happy - even when in pain. She has always love beautiful colors (her favorites being pink and yellow). Please wear Sunday dress and cheerful colors as that is how she lived her life.

I was asked where to send cards. Please send them to
Jensen Family
3422 S Champlain Ave
Tucson, AZ 85730

We are also in the process of getting an online obituary written which should be ready by Wednesday evening at www.eastlawnpalmsmortuary.com

Thank you for your loving support through the years. Our love to each of you,
Nancy Jensen and family

Nancy - I realized I hadn't come by to visit you and Jessica on your blog lately and I felt strongly I needed to swing by today. Tears sprung to my eyes. I know I never met Jessica, but I will miss her. I want you to know how much she impacted my life - just across this blog - and you too. You and your family are in my heart and prayers.

We of course, being in Ohio now, are to far to come - but I wish I could be there. I will wear my cheeriest shirt on Saturday, just for her.

Lots of hugs and love,

Julia

Nancy, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have been following your blog, and Jessica was such a strong, sweet girl. I'm so sad over this, because I don't know what I would do if I lost my daughter. My prayers are with you and your family. I'm sending you a big hug now.

Dear Nancy and family,

I just want you to know that I am so sorry to hear Jessica is no longer with you, although she is in spirit. I have hestitated for some time writing to you because of my own daugther and our endless crisis. I'm not very strong.
I have always' thought of you, Nancy, as the strongest woman "I" have ever met... giving your all to your family.
Jessica is looking down at you right now feeling so proud of her family and she is free of pain and now flying freely in HEAVEN, her journey's just beginning.

Please know again, I so often think of you and especially Jessica... and even though I'm no longer in AZ. I will forever. We didn't get much time to spend together, but I just feel this connection...Jessica just resemble's Corinne (in my eye's), and I think of my little angel Corinne so far away from me now in a Home care facility, it is so hard not having her with me.

Again, I admire how you taught Jessica to become a lady. She always' looked so happy playing in all your pic's you've shared over the yrs, she looked so loved, and that is something that has to be felt in the heart, she is such a special child...
All of you have touched me, and I am so grateful to feel the spirit, faith, love, energy all of you have given to each other... and the people who's lives you've touched.

God Bless,

Sharon W.

Nancy-- you stopped by my blog a while ago and I didn't have the time to visit yours. I did today. I am a mother of two children and a "heart" nurse. Worked in the hospital for many years with heart patients. I can only imagine your struggle and wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you. Can't imagine the loss of a child... Pics are adorable and I know she brought joy to your life!!

Thank you for commenting on my card today. With your post I too realized that it had been a while since I visited your blog. I'm so very sorry for your loss - I can't imagine the size of the whole in your heart. Looks like you need some Emergency Hugs too!

In the end, it is the wonderful memories of those we love that keep us close to them. I know that you must have many.
