Musical Monday

Today's Musical Monday is in honor of Memorial Day.

I appreciate the men and women who have given their lives and those who continue to fight for the rights and freedoms that my family and I enjoy. I also believe that no matter what your views are about the war in Iraq are, we need to support our troops. They put their lives on the line every single day. We need to support them and pray for their safe return.

I am Proud To Be An American.

It is the soldier
not the reporter
who has given us
freedom of the press

It is the soldier
not the poet
who has given us
freedom of speech

It is the soldier
not the campus organizer
who has given us
freedom to demonstrate

It is the soldier
not the lawyer
who has given us
the right to fair trial

It is the soldier
who salutes the flag
serves under the flag
and whose coffin is
draped by the flag
who gives the protester
the right to burn the flag

To our men and women in uniform....
past, present and future
God bless you
and Thank You.

Great minds think alike! I just posted the same song although the video is different. The first time I heard that song my brother was serving in the Air Force. God Bless the USA!

That is wonderful and I agree. :) I've been catching up - sorry I haven;t been around lately - feeling a bit under the weather, but I'll eventually get with it. ;)
