This is a place where I can post family updates and ramble about things as I try to find my way since the recent death of my daughter. Life has completely changed for my sons, my husband and myself. Our faith has been a great source of comfort and we'll continue to rely on it as we press forward.
HEY NANCY!! THIS IS TERRI KING (Matthew's mom from LV) !!!! :-) Hey... I didn't know you had this site too! I see your little face on Dan's blog... God, isn't he funny!! I only go to Dan's blog... Tim's from The Special Zipper and I have just started going to the Turtle Story guy ... oh.. and the Suggs..... (she needs to do an update!!) I am home alone so much... Mike's schedule is quite crazy... w/ Matthew of course ... and since I can't have Matthew around kids... I don't get much adult contact...I am one of the most sociable people I know... being home bound is killin me....I don't see my friends much... so the bloggers and other heart parents are my pals now... funny huh!
Hey.. I''m a little (ok... a LOT) freaked out.. up there at the top... you say that your daughter is terminally ill.... I did not know that! I thought she was doing well?? Well... as well as can be expected ... you know what I mean... Matthew has the same defect ... and my pediatric cardiologist is ALWAYS VERY VAGUE when I ask about his life expectancy... and when I get brave enough to look online... I haven't seen too many kids that live past 25...??? (I COULD CRY RIGHT NOW) I know we are heading to a 3rd surgery... don't know when.. but his leak is worse (I don't believe I've posted that on PDHEART) So... probably like you... I live on pins and needles... and I live in fear every single day...
I sure hope that Jessica is okay... and will be okay... Oh goodness....
I meant to say... I've been a Pampered Chef consultant for about 5 years now...and I have my own Mary Kay business, too... for 4 years... I even have my own Mary Kay room that Mike built me... it's all pink w/ beautiful white cabinets...
BUT AS YOU WELL KNOW.. SINCE MATTHEW'S BIRTH... I HARDLY HAVE TIME... I was doing soooo good before he was born... oh well.. someday I'll get more into it again... I am still active... Isn't it such fun!!! Terri "Kay"
Terri, I completely understand about being homebound with a chd child. I've been doing it for 18+ years now. I have a nursing agency who sends in personal care people to help Jess have her baths, wash her hair and keep her company so I can go grocery shopping, have a nap, or just get out of the house for awhile. I usually only hold one Creative Memories workshop a month. I would love to do more with CM but I am very limited at what I can do. There have been a few times that I have had workshops or classes at my house and Jessica can be involved some.
I tried to leave you a welcome note on my Cbox but I then upgraded(?) to the beta version of blogger and I can't seem to get the Cbox back. Anyway, WELCOME! Visit anytime!
Ok. I'll agree to that. But it works both ways. My twin sister would be more generous than me so that means you owe me $30,000 which after deducting the $20,000 I owe you ... well do the math and I'll be expecting a check (or cheque) from you for $10,000. In fact, to make it easier I also accept Visa or Mastercard. :-P

So you would be one of the dudes running away and leaving his poor friend? Or would you be the guy passed out on the ground?

Passed out, like a big girl, thank you :D
None of this running lark!
Dan, you are such a nut! You put in your comment (above) under MY name. lol! Although I do have to say that you could be my long-lost twin sister!
If I am your sister, I believe you should backdate all the christmas and birthdays you've missed. You owe me approx. $20,000.
